COOL SPOT FOR THE WEEK: TWIN ISLAND CALABAR Our cool spot for the week is the The Twin Island Calabar. Twin Island is one of the tourist attractions in Calabar, Cross River State Nigeria. Located off the shores of Calabar, it is believed to be the Island where the popular missionary Mary Slessor who stopped the killing of twins in calabar hide the children after rescueing them. The Island is a beautiful relaxation spot as you can view almost the whole coast line of calabar. The Island is owned and managed now by those believed to be descendants of the twin children rescued and orphaned by Mary Slessor.
